Lucas has been working in Product Design and Development for over a decade. A Cincinnati native boomerang, he began pursuing his passion of product design with his first business, offering custom wrestling headgear and sports gear in 2010. With an educational foundation from CCAD and The Ohio State University in Industrial design, he led his first crowdfunding campaign for Juiceboxx and exited the product business turned creative agency in 2015.

Thereafter, he took his expertise allowed him to become a Senior Designer at Funded Today, at the time, one of the fastest growing companies in the US. Since that first foray into product design, he has now launched hundreds of projects on behalf of clients for over a decade, some now businesses valued at over a million dollars. Notably, Lucas was the lead on Grypmat, Kong, JoGo, and was the architect of the kiosk housing and mechanical system that brought PopCom's software to market which allowed the company to raise over 5 million on Equity crowdfunding. Grypmat, winner of Times magazine's Best Inventions of 2018, was a strong start to a long and successful career.

As the founder of Product Refinery, Lucas continues his work in designing and manufacturing products to allow clients to build sustainable product-based businesses. By taking his years of experience in product design and supply chain management, Lucas empowers creators from all industries to Design, Make, and Ship their products into the global marketplace.
